Funding Round 5 (2025) offers financial awards in the following area for individuals:
Learn to Play Award for Individuals
This award is open to individuals in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), who have actively participated in Learn to Play 2025, and are wishing to continue their music making journey. Applicants for this award will need to illustrate barriers faced and how funds will be used to support them in their music making aspirations. A grant of up to £800 is available for this award.
Please read the eligibility criteria and instructions carefully before applying. Applications (and witness statement forms) should be received by no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 14 January 2026, (with witness statement forms received by 12 noon on Friday 16 January 2026).
