Award Round 3 (2026/27) offers instrument awards in the following areas for community groups/projects:
N.B. No cash grants in these categories, only instruments
1) Electric Guitars + amps + cables
This award is open to applications from community and educational groups/schools working with disadvantaged communities and developing music education for those living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on advancing the music making of their group. Applicants can apply for up to 8 electric guitars (standard right handed) and/or up to 13 left handed guitars. Please note: these come with amps and cables also.
2) Ukuleles (by Gear4Music, in packs of 5)
This award is open to applications from community and educational groups/schools working with disadvantaged communities and developing music education for those living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on advancing the music making of their group. Applicants can apply for up to 30 Ukuleles. NB no cases are provided.
3) Behringer Multipurpose Headphones (HPM1000)
This award is open to applications from community and educational groups/schools working with disadvantaged communities and developing music education for those living in deprived or marginalised areas (this includes but is not limited to social infrastructure; please see the domains of deprivation for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland). Applicants must illustrate the impact that this award would have on advancing the music making of their group. Applicants can apply for up to 21 pairs of Behringer Multipurpose Headphones (HPM1000).
Please read the eligibility criteria and instructions carefully before applying. Applications should be received by no later than 12 noon on Friday 31 July 2026, (with witness statement forms received no later than 12 noon on Monday 3 August 2026).
